Why we built Prevsi
Prevsi was founded by a team of healthcare professionals and community advocates who saw firsthand how stigma, cost, and lack of access were keeping people from life-saving HIV prevention care in Florida. Too many people were going without PrEP — not because they didn't want it, but because the system made it too hard.
Getting a PrEP prescription meant finding a doctor who specialized in sexual health, taking time off work for clinic visits, dealing with insurance confusion, and in many cases facing judgment. We decided to fix all of that.
