Getting started
Prevsi is available to people 18 and older who live in Florida. The eligibility check confirms this before you share any health details.
A licensed provider reviews your information to decide whether a service is right for you. Starting an intake does not guarantee a prescription.
Check eligibilityYou complete a short online intake, which takes about 5 minutes. Then you choose at-home testing or an in-person lab visit.
Lab results are usually ready 2 to 3 business days after the lab receives your samples. A provider reviews your information and results, and your status page shows what happened and what comes next.
How it worksNot yet. Prevsi serves Florida residents, and you need to be in Florida when you use the service and receive deliveries.
We are working on more states. Leave your email on the Florida page and we will let you know when Prevsi is available where you live.

Costs and coverage
Prevsi care is free for eligible patients. That includes your provider visits, required lab testing, at-home kits with return shipping, and medication delivery.
If you have insurance, we bill your plan. If you do not, or your plan leaves a cost, your care team helps you enroll in assistance programs that cover it. If something would not be covered for you, we tell you before anything happens.
Florida eligibilityYou can still use Prevsi. Tell us during the intake, and your care team helps you apply for assistance programs that can cover medication and lab testing.
Not having insurance never blocks you from starting.

Testing and results
Your kit is matched to your service and the kinds of sex you have, so not every kit includes every sample. It arrives in discreet, unmarked packaging.
A finger-prick blood sample can check for HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis B or C. Urine and swab samples check for gonorrhea and chlamydia. Most people finish collecting samples in about 10 minutes.
At-home STI testing guideYes. During the intake you choose an at-home kit or an in-person lab visit. A lab visit usually takes 15 minutes or less.
How it worksResults are usually ready 2 to 3 business days after the lab receives your samples. You can see them in your secure account, and a provider reviews them with your information.
How it worksIf the exposure was in the last 72 hours, go to urgent care or an emergency room right away and ask about PEP. Prevsi is not for emergencies. For a medical emergency, call 911.
Testing too soon after an exposure can miss an infection, so ask a provider when to test.
