Terms and conditions
The rules for using the Prevsi website and patient account, and what you and Prevsi agree to.
- Effective October 1, 2026
- Last updated October 1, 2026
Agreement to these terms
These terms apply to the Prevsi website, patient account and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms, our Privacy policy and our Telehealth consent. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Who can use Prevsi
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to agree to these terms.
- You must live in Florida and be physically in Florida when you use the Service for care.
- You must give true, complete and current information, and keep it up to date.
What Prevsi offers
Prevsi connects you with licensed Florida providers for a limited set of services: PrEP, at-home STI testing and long-term HIV care. Testing is done by certified laboratories, and prescriptions are filled by licensed pharmacies.
Medical decisions are made by your provider using their own professional judgment. Starting an intake does not guarantee a prescription or a particular treatment.
Not for emergencies
The Service is not for emergencies. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. If you may have been exposed to HIV in the last 72 hours, go to urgent care or an emergency room right away and ask about PEP.
Health information on the site
Articles, guides and other general content on the site are for education only and are not medical advice. Medical advice comes only from your provider, through your account or a visit.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details private, and tell us right away if you think someone else has used your account.
- Use only one account, and do not create an account for someone else. Your provider needs your complete history in one place to care for you safely.
- You are responsible for activity in your account.
Prescriptions, testing and delivery
- Prescriptions are sent to a licensed pharmacy, which ships your medication to the address you provide.
- At-home kits must be collected and returned as described in the kit instructions. A sample that cannot be tested may need to be collected again.
- Delivery times are estimates. We will tell you about delays we know of, and you can track shipments in your account.
Acceptable use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Use it for anyone other than yourself, or impersonate another person.
- Break the law or help anyone else do so.
- Copy, change, reverse engineer or resell any part of the Service.
- Interfere with or bypass the security of the Service, or access it by automated means.
- Upload harmful code, or harass or abuse our providers, staff or other people.
Messages and feedback
Messages about your care become part of your medical record. If you send us ideas or feedback about the Service, we may use them to improve it without any obligation to you.
Ownership and open-source licenses
Prevsi Health LLC and its licensors own the Service, including its original content, photography, design and the Prevsi name and logo. These terms give you a personal, limited right to use the Service for your own care. They do not give you any other rights.
Typography on this site uses Bricolage Grotesque and Source Sans 3 under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Interface icons use Lucide under the ISC License, and AI assistant marks are provided under the MIT License (LobeHub Icons) and remain trademarks of their respective owners. Insurance carrier marks are used solely for nominative identification of accepted plans.
Suspending or closing an account
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. If we do, you can still request a copy of your medical records, and we will help you transition your care where we can.
Disclaimers
We work to keep the Service accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under laws that cannot be waived, or the professional duties your providers owe you.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Prevsi is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnification
You agree to cover Prevsi for claims and costs that result from your breaking these terms or misusing the Service.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal law. If you have a concern, contact us first and we will try to resolve it informally. If we cannot, the dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Florida.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we make a material change, we will update the effective date, post the new version here and tell you in your account. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
